Jasmine & Robert - Edinburgh Engagement Photography

Jasmine & Robert flew all the way from Virginia to Edinburgh to get engaged. Robert’s parents actually met and got engaged in this city 35 years ago, making it that much more special to follow in their footsteps. Jasmine & Robert wanted to have an engagement photography session to remember this incredible milestone in their life and I was thrilled when they asked me to capture their love story!

In their initial enquiry, Jasmine mentioned that they were very drawn to Dean Village and Holyrood Park (which also happen to be my absolute favourite locations in Edinburgh due to how green and peaceful they are!). We planned our session for early evening hoping for some golden hour photos and Scotland really delivered. Throughout the session the city was bathed in the most magical golden light, which turned the sky cotton candy pink as the sun descended behind the horizon at the end of the session.
