Elke & Max / East Lothian Scotland Elopement Photography

When you think of eloping in Scotland, the beach is probably not the first place that comes to mind but Scotland truly has some of the most incredible beaches in Europe, if not the world. From East Lothian coastline to Isle of Harris to Achmelvich Bay and so many others in between, if you've not considered a beach elopement, this is your sign to do it!

Elke & Max got ready at Steampunk Coffee Roasters, a unique space in North Berwick. We took a couple of photos in the really cool staircase and then headed out to the North Berwick harbour, capturing a few images of Elke & Max in their beautiful outfits in front of the whimsical pastel coloured houses that North Berwick is well known for. Lastly, we headed for a hidden beach along the East Lothian coastline that has some incredible rock formations and overlooks Tantallon Castle. I forgot to mention that the whole day was unbelievably gloomy and cold, but just as we got ready for the ceremony lead by the amazing Andrew D Scott Celebrant, the sun broke out through the thick clouds into the most incredible, ethereal sunset. The couple were absolutely amazing bearing the cold and the images speak for themselves.
